Pür Residential Recording Studio Featured in Wallpaper*

March 19, 2026

We are thrilled to announce that Pur, our residential recording studio on the Turkish island of Cunda, has been featured in Wallpaper* magazine.

Wallpaper* is a global authority on design, curating the best in architecture, interiors, art, and lifestyle. The feature, written by Architecture & Environment Director Ellie Stathaki, offers an in-depth tour of the project, exploring how we approached music production as "cultural infrastructure."

The article highlights our core design challenge: honoring the elemental character of the island—the sea, olive trees, wind, and birds—while delivering the precise acoustic environment required for world-class music production. It beautifully details the studio's boutique collection of structures, noting the contrast between the crisp, tactile exterior of traditional stone and timber, and the fluid, cocooning interior shaped by our Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) shell.

Wallpaper* also spotlights the transition from the vernacular calm of Cunda into a highly tuned recording environment, describing it as passing through a "wormhole" of soundscapes that mirror how music moves across time and cultures.

We are incredibly proud to see Pur recognized by such a prestigious publication. You can read the full article and explore the gallery on the Wallpaper* website here.
