Showroomprivé.com has launched the first edition of WEAREABLE, an event organized in partnership with the Gaité Lyrique, with the aim of promoting innovative practices and change with regards to the means of designing, distributing and consuming fashion.
The event will celebrate innovation in the fashion industry through an award ceremony, talks, workshops and an exhibition on the theme of avant-garde projects.
The WEAREABLE project is centered around an award ceremony which will reward four entrepreneurs or start-ups for their original innovations in the field of fashion and technology, where experimentation and prototypes are being used to design the fashion world of tomorrow.
SpongeSuit is nominated in the Fashion category, due to its ability to surprise and innovate with its ground breaking idea in the field of wearable technology.
Weareable will take place between February 9th – 14th in Paris, with the first day’s award ceremony to be followed by the exhibition.
